Winter driving can present us with many unique hazards. Some of those hazards include:
- Poor visibility;
- Blowing and drifting snow;
- Black ice; and
- Phantom shoulder.

Remember, to drive safely this winter you should be proactive.
- Slow down;
- Reduce your steering inputs; and
- Be aware of hazards that don’t exist at any other time of the year.
