We had some very curious visitors stop by and check out associate life at West Bend this week.
Earlier this year, we released 15 bred hens and 5 roosters to our prairie. This is a continuation of last fall’s release in an effort to establish a resident population. To help with pheasant establishment, we’ll install a food plot this summer which will consist of sunflower, sorghum, milo, and millet, and provide a food and shelter source for the pheasants as well as other wildlife on our property.
