Infographic Transcript

1. CLAIM REPORT

Policyholder and/or claimant submits a claim directly to their agent or to West Bend via the policyholder portal, mobile app, phone, or email: Call: 877-922-5246 Email: directconnect@wbmi.com

2. ASSIGNMENT

The claim is assigned to a claims representative who works with the claimant during the claims process.

3. INITIAL CONTACT

The claims representative calls the claimant to gather additional details, answer questions, discuss next steps, and provide a claim number.

4. EVALUATION

The claims representative may need to call witnesses, contact a repair shop, or instruct the claimant to use our photo estimate tool to gather vehicle photos necessary for the evaluation.

5. RESOLUTION AND CLOSURE

The claims representative contacts the claimant to go over the payment details. The payment (minus deductible) is issued either directly to the claimant or the repair shop completing the work, and the claim is closed.
